HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued 119-121, (27.55 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Hadrian, drapery on far shoulder, around IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG P M TR P COS III, rev. around PROVIDENTIA DEORVM, S C across, Hadrian looking to left towards eagle flying right, g hands with Hadrian in a togate, (S.3625, RIC 589b, cf.C.1207). Dark green patina, good portrait legends weak, otherwise fine and rare.
