HERENNIUS ETRUSCUS, (A.D. 251), silver antoninianus, Rome mint, issued A.D. 250-1, (4.138 grams), obv. radiate bust of Herennius draped to right, around Q HER ETR MES DECIVS NOB C, rev. around PIETAS AVGVSTORVM, various sacrificial implements, (S.2741, RIC 143, RSC 14). Struck on a large flan, off centred on reverse and weak in places, otherwise extremely fine/good very fine and very scarce.
