MAGNIA URBICA, wife of Carinus, (A.D. 283-285), billon antoninianus, Lugdunum mint, (3.438 grams), obv. diademed bust to right of Magnia Urbica on crescent, around, MAGNIA VRBICA AVG, rev. VENVS GENETRIX, Venus standing to left holding apple and sceptre, to left D, (S.3489, RIC 337, C.11). Good very fine and rare, the coin with attractive dark brown patina.
