NEW SOUTH WALES, five shillings or holey dollar, 1813, struck on a Charles IIII Mexico City Mint eight reales, 1805 T.H. (dies A/9: I/9) (Mira-Noble 1805/21). Almost upright countermarks adding to eye appeal, has been plugged at top, otherwise nearly very fine and very rare.

Ex Lawson's Sale 1950s, ANS member Mrs Oppenhiemer of Walcha, NSW, then Spink Australia in 1976 to private owner, then a futher sale 1981 to the late owner.
