SICILY, Akragas (Agrigentum), (c.520-472 B.C.), silver didrachm, Jenkins Group I, (8.354 grams), obv. eagle with closed wings standing to left, [AKRAC ANTO**S*] around, rev. crab on plain broad flan, (cf.S.708, SNG Cop.21 [Pl.1 similar dies]. SNG Lloyd 787 [similar dies], SNG ANS 917 [similar dies]). Fine/good fine and rare, the earliest type.
