ANCIENT BRITISH, Celtic, Cantiaci, (c.40-20 B.C.), AE 14, (2.45 g), obv. boar or wolf standing left before tree, rev. lion right with curled tail clutching snake, (S.176, ABC 270, Van A 154-5, BMC 2487). Green toning, good very fine and very rare.

Ex S.J.Green Collection. Previously Noonan 240522, lot 4 with ticket.
