STEPHEN I, (1135-1154), silver penny, cross Moline (Watford) type, London Mint, moneyer Bricmar, (1.45 g), obv. bust right, crowned and diademed, holding sceptre in right hand within pelleted inner circle, +STIEFNE [REX] around, rev. cross moline with a fleur in each angle within pelleted inner circle, +[BRI]CMAR ON LU[N] around, (S.1278, N.873, BMC i). Toned, irregular flan, nearly very fine and scarce.
