HENRY II, (1154-1189), silver cut half penny, short cross type, class Ia4, Northampton Mint, issued 1180-1189, moneyer Reinald, (0.46 g), obv. crowned bust facing, no sceptre, face long and thin with beard of pellets, within pelleted inner circle, +HEN[RICVS] REX around, rev. long cross voided, dividing HALD.ON around, trefoils in each angle within pelleted inner circle, (S.1343A, N.962). Toned, nearly very fine and scarce.
