HENRY III, (1216-1272), silver cut half penny, long cross type, class IIb1, Northampton Mint, moneyer Lucas, (0.56 g), obv. crowned bust facing, no sceptre, face long and thin with beard of pellets, within pelleted inner circle, [*HEN]RICVS RE[X TERCI] around, rev. long cross voided, dividing LUC RhA around, trefoils in each angle within pelleted inner circle, (S.1361A, N.985). Toned, good fine and a scarce mint.
