HENRY III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross type, class V a/b, Canterbury Mint, moneyer John, (1.65 g), obv. crowned facing bust with sceptre, HENRICVS REX III, stop after ornate X, rev. long cross voided, dividing ION ON CANTOR around, trefoils in each angle within pelleted inner circle, (S.1367/8, N.991). Toned, dramatic flip over double strike, nearly very fine and scarce.
