THRACE, Kingdom of, Lysimachus, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.096 grams), Amphipolis mint, issued 297-281 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted circle, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, **PLIO* monogram to left, OK monogram in exergue, to left **BASILEWS*, to right **LUSIMAXOU*, (cf.S.6814, Thompson 211). Very fine, lightly toned and rare.
