WEST AFRICA, Sierra Leone, cut quarter segment of a Charles IIII Spanish American eight reales (countermarked 1832-4) with crown over W(illiam) R(ex) incuse on obverse of the original coin (5.73g) (Vice FT4, from punch 2; KM.10). Unworn traces of IIII (for Charles IIII) visible, extremely fine and very rare.

Sold with a PCGS certificate stating 'counterfeit'.
