HUNGARY, Mathias Corvinus (1458-1490), gold Madonna ducat or goldgulden, (3.26 g), Nagybanya mint in 1468-1470, obv. quartered arms with ruler's name around, rev. St. Ladislaus standing facing his name around, n and sub in shield either side. (F.11 [p.414], Pohl "Ungarische Goldgulden des Mittelalters" K2-2 [R204B], Huszar 674). Crinkled, very fine and rare in this condition.
