IONIA, Magnesia ad Maeandrum, (2nd century B.C.), AE 17, (5.106 grams), obv. head of Artemis laureate to right, bow and quiver at shoulder, rev. statue of Artemis Leukophryene standing facing, wearing modius and veil, and fillet hanging from either hand, on right **MAGNHTWN*, on left, magistrates name NIKANWR K[AI] ZWPUROS* monogram **UDR* extreme right, (cf.S.4491, cf.BMC 42, SNG Cop.855). Green patination, good very fine and rare.
