PAMPHYLIA, Aspendos, (c.375-360 B.C.), silver stater, (10.625 grams), obv. two naked athletes as wrestlers grasping each other by the hands, **DA* between, dotted border, rev. slinger advancing to right about to discharge his sling, trisceles before, behind **ESTFEDIIU*, all within square dotted border, (cf.S.5397, BMC 37 [p.98], SNG France 87 {Pl.4]). Flaw on centre of reverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine and rare.
