SICILY, Syracuse, Agathokles, (317-285 B.C.), AE 23, (9.74 g), obv. bust of Artemis to right, quiver at shoulder behind, before **SWTEIRA*, rev. above and below winged thunderbolt **AGAQOKLEOS / BASILEOS*, (S.1200, BMC 422, Calciati 142, SNG ANS 708, HGC 2, 1537). Attractive dark brown patina, about as struck, extremely fine, scarce.
