PELOPONNESOS, Corinthia, Corinth, (c.350 B.C.), silver stater, (8.33 g), obv. Pegasos flying to left, Q below, rev. head of Athena to left, wearing Corinthian helmet, [above dolphin downwards], cock standing to right on right behind Athena, (cf.S.2631, Calciati 331, Ravel 867, BCD Corinth -, BMC 153, HGC 4, 1832). Attractive grey patina with blue and gold highlights, obverse off centred, otherwise very fine/ nearly extremely fine, scarce.

Ex CNG, December 4, 1999 as a private purchase.
