PELOPONNESOS, Sicyon, (c.90s-60s B.C.), silver triobol or hemidrachm, (2.31 g), obv. dove flying to left, rev. **S* in shallow incuse square, in three lines **PRO/MA XI/ DAS*, (S.2777, BCD 345, SNG Cop. 102, McClean XI, 6299, BMC 200, HGC 5, 215). Toned, very fine/ good very fine and rare.

Ex Sotheby's London, Auction Sale May 4, 1973 (lot 30). Probably from the Diakofto Hoard (ICGH 262). Comes with extensive descriptive ticket in a flip with old collectors ticket.
