SASANIAN KING, Shapur II, (A.D. 309-379), silver drachm, (4.11 g), obv. bust to right with mural crown with korymbos, name in outer margin, rev. fire altar with bust above turning right, flanked by two attendants. (Gobl 106 type 1a/6a (Pl.6), Sunrise 830 var, M.877 this coin). Attractively toned, very fine, scarce.
