EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy III Euergetes, (246-222 B.C.), AE 34, (25.63 g), Alexandria Mint, obv. head of Zeus-Ammon right, wearing tainia, rev. Eagle standing left on thunderbolt, cornucopia to left, monogram between legs, **PTOLEMAIOU BASILEWS* around, (S.7817, Sv.965, BMC 89, SNG Cop.173-5). Green and brown patina, very fine.
