PALESTINE, Judaea, First Revolt, (A.D. 66-70), copper issue eighth unit medium bronze, AE 20, struck year 4 = A.D. 69-70, (6.062 grams), obv. chalice with pearl rim of 9 pearls, around in Hebrew 'For the redemption of Zion', rev. lulav flanked by etrog on either side, Hebrew legend around 'year four', (S.5646, AJC 30a [p.262, Pl.19], Meshorer 163a [p.157], H.670, [131], Kadman 37, cf.SNG ANS 455-6). Superb, extremely fine and very rare in this condition.
