VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), AE as, Lugdunum mint, issued A.D. 72, (11.57 g), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around IMP CAESAR VESPASIAN AVG COS IIII, rev. eagle standing facing to right on globe S C across, (cf.S.2362, RIC 1202, BMC 822). Deep brown patina, nearly very fine/very fine, scarce with collector ticket.
