HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), AE as, issued 134, Rome Mint, (11.82 g), obv. bare head to right of Hadrian, around HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, rev. Roma in military dress standing left, holding spear and clasping right hands with Hadrian who stands right holding scroll, around ADVENTVS AVG, S C in exergue, (cf.S.3455, RIC II 2072 [R], Strack [1933] 642, Paris 5682). Well centred, toned, extremely fine and rare.
