JULIA MAESA, grandmother of Elagabalus, (A.D. 218-222, d.225), AE sestertius, Rome mint, (23.13 g), obv. draped bust of Julia Maesa to right wearing diadem, around IVLIA MAES A AVGVSTA, rev. PVDICITIA, Pudicitia seated to left raising veil and holding sceptre, (S.7764, RIC 420, C.42, BMC 391). Nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
