MARINIANA, wife of Valerian I, (c.253-260 A.D.), base silver antoninianus, Rome Mint, (3.08 g), obv. Diademed and veiled bust, draped to right of Mariniana, all on crescent, around DIVAE MARINIANAE, rev. CONSECRATIO, around, peacock flying to right, carrying empress to heaven, (S.10070, RIC 6, C.16, Cunetio Hoard 643 [63 spec.]). Lightly toned, good very fine and very scarce.
