PROBUS, (276-282 A.D.), copper antoninianus, Rome Mint, (3.56 g), obv. Radiate bust, cuirassed, of Probus to right, around PROBVS P F AVG, rev. ADVENTVS AVG around, Emperor riding to left right hand raised, left hand holds sceptre, at foot a captive, in exergue R thunderbolt Z, (cf.S.11953, RIC 158, C.-). Dark patination, extremely fine.
