PROBUS, (276-282 A.D.), copper antoninianus, Ticinum Mint, (4.06 g), obv. Radiate bust, cuirassed, of Probus to right, around IMP C PROBVS AVG, rev. PROVIDENT AVG around, Providentia standing to left holding globe and sceptre, in exergue BXXI, (cf.S.12013, RIC 552, C.478). Dark patination, traces of red, extremely fine.
