Together with 7 Battalion unit colour patch; Gallipoli Medallion 1967 named to A. G. Galland, in case of issue with official printed complimentary note; also a very large hard cover book, 158pp, as well as fold-out sheets, titled 'The All-Australia Memorial, History, Heroes, and Helpers', this copy with the dedication page featuring a photo of Sgt A.G.Galland.

Alexander Gladstone Galland, storeman, age 28, born at Glenferrie, Vic; Enl.17Aug1914 at Essendon, Vic, in 7Bn, with 5 years previous service in AIR; Emb.19Oct1914; to Gallipoli 05Apr1915; to L/Cpl 06Jun1915; to hospital sick 02Oct1915 with influenza and then to England 21Nov1915; to hospital 04Dec1915 to 25Jan1916 with enteric; to France 21Aug1916; to Cpl 24Nov1916; to hospital with appendicitis 14Feb1917; to T/Sgt 27Sep1917; MIA and now KIA 04Oct1917, Belgium; commemorated at Menin Gate Memorial.
