Geoffrey Coombes, health inspector, age 31, born at Rozelle, Sydney, NSW; Enl.01Sep1941 at Recruiting Depot Eastern Command (Paddington), in AAMC TD; served in New Guinea 08Jan to 16Sep1942 and 31Oct1943 to 21Sep1944; Disch.23Feb1946 as Staff Sgt ex 46 Aust Gen Hosp; following his discharge Geoffrey Coombes was appointed the Health Inspector for Molong, NSW; Mr Coombes retired on 28Aug1970.
