GROUP OF SIX: Voluntary Medical Service Medal; British Red Cross Society Medal, with Proficiency In Red Cross Nursing pin-back top clasp and Red Cross Nursing clasps for 1942, 1943, 1944, 1945, 1946, 1953; British Red Cross Society Medal, with Proficiency In Red Cross First Aid pin-back top clasp and Red Cross First Aid clasps for 1943, 1944, 1945, 1946; British Red Cross Society Medal for Merit with 1944 clasp; British Red Cross Society Medal, with Proficiency In Air Raid Precautions Training pin-back top clasp and A.R.P. 1945 clasp; British Red Cross Society Medal, with Proficiency In Infant & Child Welfare pin-back top clasp and Infant & Child Welfare 1946 clasp. Miss Lilian Carter on first medal, 33341 L.Carter on second medal, 011526 L.Carter on third medal, 11281 L.Carter on fourth medal, 12388 L.Carter on fifth medal and 503 L.Carter on sixth medal. The first medal impressed, all other medals engraved. Some ribbons damaged, the first medal with oxidation marks, otherwise mostly very fine - extremely fine.
Together with BRCS Detachment collar badge (QC), in gilt and enamel by J.R.Gaunt, London, pin-back; Royal Life Saving Society Respiration Service badge in silvered bronze, by J.A.Wylie & Co, London, pin-back, reverse numbered 39675; another Royal Life Saving Society Respiration Service badge but in cloth.
