NEW ZEALAND INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION, Christchurch, 1906-7, struck in gold (probably 18ct, 22.6g, 31mm), no maker (Stokes), inscribed on edge 'A. & P. Wool Competition N.Z.I.E. Strong Combing Merino Ram', reverse inscribed 'Watson Shennan.' (M.1906-07/44). Extremely fine and very rare, with remnants of a fitted case.
