L.C.S., (Lowburn Caledonian Society), c1940s, fob medal, hand engraved in gold (9ct, 3.3g, 28x28mm), no maker, ring top suspension, reverse inscribed 'L.C.S./Won by/A de Bettencor/Dancing'. Good very fine.

Miss Adelaide de Bettencor was the only daughter of Mr and Mrs M.A. de Bettencor, prominent citizens of Cromwell in Otago.
