4TH N.Z. Infantry (Res) Brigade, uniface, fob medal, struck in gold (9ct, 7.3g, 26mm), by V&S (Vaughton & Son, Birmingham), hallmark for Birmingham, 1918, ring top suspension, reverse inscribed '1st/Relay Race'. Good extremely fine and very rare in gold.

In a fitted case of Vaughtons Ltd, Birmingham with impressed gold lettering on front.
