NEW ZEALAND FARMERS' COOPERATIVE ASSOCIATION OF CANTERBURY LD, Christchurch, 189-, bill of exchange printing copperplate (85x254mm), reverse with impressed oval stamp, 'Hughes & Kimber (Limited)/Manufacturers/London E.C.' In envelope bearing the plate's impression, the envelope damaged, the plate very fine.

Hughes & Kimber were renowned 19th century manufacturers of copperplates for printing, engraving, maps, fine etching, line and other high class engraving. The firm also manufactured large steam driven lithographic presses.
