"The members of the Dunedin Trinity Methodist Church assembled to bid farewell to Mr. and Mrs. C.F.Edgar, on the eve of their departure to Auckland, Mr. Edgar has been promoted by Messrs. Sargood. Son, and Ewen. The Rev. C.H.Laws said 'that they, had gathered to say "good-bye" to two of the most respected members of their congregation. Mr. Edgar had for some time been one of the church trustees, and he was also for some years a faithful member of the choir, Mrs. Edgar had devoted long and valued services to the church, as a member of the choir, and as a Sunday-school teacher.
