SOLD $400

A.C.R.U. (Ashburton County Rugby Union), c1920, Life Member's badge, handcrafted in gold (9ct, 13.5g, 37x31mm), no maker (probably Robilliard & Son, Ashburton), pin-slide back, reverse inscribed 'To/N.de G.Robilliard/In Recognition of/Valuable Services/To Rugby Football/In/Ashburton/County'. Good very fine.

Robilliard was a jeweller in Ashburton and there is a good chance he made the medal.
