CANTERBURY AGRICULTURAL PASTORAL ASSOCIATION, struck in bronze (55mm), by J.Moore.F: (London) for G.Coates, Direx: (Christchurch), reverse inscribed 'J.S.Caverhill Esq/For/Milch Cow/Class 7/1863' (S.470). Minor edge bruising, extremely fine, a very early prize medal and extremely rare, especially in bronze, in a contemporary fitted case.
