FORTROSE, fob medal, handcrafted in gold (9ct, 7.4g, 40x30mm), no maker, ring top suspension, reverse inscribed 'To/Privt.E.O'Fee/From/Fortrose Residents/In Honour of Duty Done In War/1918'. Some scratching to lettering, otherwise very fine.

Probably 71029 Tpr George O'Fee, 35th Reinforcements, Mounted Rifles Brigade, NZEF, embarked from New Zealand 21 February 1918.
