POHANGINA, hand engraved in gold (9ct, 6.0g, 29x28mm), no maker, ring top suspension, obverse inscribed 'F.W.', reverse inscribed 'The Great War/From/Pohangina Residents'. Very fine.

Possibly 17/333 Tpr Frederick Wilson, 6th Vet Corp, Wellington Regiment, embarked from New Zealand 14 August 1915.
