SCOTT BROS., Railway Foundry, Christchurch, uniface, struck in copper (32mm) with milled edge, pierced at issue, stamped III on reverse (G.93; TMR.p411 [this piece]). Even brown patina, very fine for wear and rare.

Ex W.H.Lampard Collection, Noble Numismatics Sale 78B, 6-7 April 2005 (lot 2892) previously from Colonial Coins in 1990.
