AN EXTENSIVE COLLECTION OF NEW ZEALAND MILITARY BADGES, WWI - 1980s, formed by a collector over many years, includes WWI Reinforcements (112), Mounted Rifle Regiments (82), Infantry Regiments (192) and Corps Units (234), all presented in groups and mounted on A4 size cards, each with a reference number, together with photocopies of each card annotated with 1997 values. Very good - extremely fine, many rare. (620)
A collection originally formed by Geoffrey J.Lowe F.C.I.S. author of 'New Zealand Reinforcement Badges, 1914-1918', Auckland, 1987. The badges in the collection used as the basis for and illustrated in his book.
Private purchase in December 2009, with some research.
