AUSTRALIA, Pattern 1907 steel bayonet, stamped on the ricasso on one side, 'X OA with broad arrow above' (Orange Feeder Factory for the Lithgow Small Arms Factory), on the opposite side is stamped, 'MA/1907/1/6/45', with wood and metal handle and metal and leather scabbard, this marked, '?A' on the front of the chape and 'Mangrovite 43' on the back of the leather. Scabbard leather hard and discoloured and metal dark toned with pit marks, all other metal dark toned and the blade with many dark marks, otherwise good.
