AUSTRALIA, WWII, trench art display made from the base of a 25 Pound shell casing dated 1941 on the base and with four inert .303 cartridges roughly soldered at sides as support legs, the casing is higher at one side and has been cut out into the shape of a map of Australia and on this map has been cut-out the design of an emu and kangaroo at the sides of a shield to form the outline of the Australian coat-of-arms. Fine.
