MEDAL CASES, for orders, decorations and medals, many British but also some world, several have award post nominal initials or name of award gold blocked on lid, includes DSO (2, one case unmarked and one damaged), DFC (with name badge for Neil Lambell [413717 Flying Officer Neil Allason Lambell, RAAF, awarded DFC in WWII] and Air Force Association lapel badge), Military Cross (crown on lid) (8, three with pin-back ribbon [one ribbon damaged], one with pin-back bar and short ribbon and one with pin-back bar only), unmarked cases (5, two damaged), The George Medal box, Silver Jubilee Medal 1952-1977 box; also Belgium Order of Leopold II case by Gustave Wolfers, Egypt Order of the Nile case by J.Lattes, USA cases for Bronze Star Medal, Soldier's Medal and Purple Heart with enamel lapel badge and short pieces of ribbon, unidentified Greek box 1940-1941 with navy shield on lid, base insert (with foxing) for medal box with provision for star shaped medal and another plain box.
