Robert Abercrombie, drover, age 43, born in NSW (no specific location given); Enl.01Oct1915 at Toowoomba, Qld in 5Rfts 2 Rmt Unit; to A/Cpl 18Jan1916; Emb.05Apr1916; TOS 2 Rmt Unit in Middle East and reverts to Trooper 25May1916; accidental injury to left foot when kicked by a horse at Moascar 22Dec1918; RTA 26Jul1919; Disch.25Oct1919; Died 18Mar1939 and was buried at St Matthew's Church of England Cemetery at Sherwood, Brisbane, Qld; Robert Abercrombie's maternal grandfather was Captain Sunners, the well known dredge master on the Brisbane River.
