PM8316 (RANR) Douglas George Gilbert, clerk, born 21Sep1926 at South Melbourne, Vic; WWII mobilized for service 30Apr1945; posted to Cerberus, Lonsdale (twice), Kuttabul, and Penguin (twice); Demobilized 21Jan1947; Re-Enl.19Nov1948 (O.N. 36845) in RAN and was still serving when Naval personnel records were transferred to EDP on 01Feb1970; last known rank was A/RPO (Prov).
