EUBOIA, Chalkis, (c.338-308 B.C.), silver drachm, 18mm, (3.58 g), obv. head of nymph Chalkis to right, rev. eagle right with wings displayed, holding serpent in talons, to left, ZH monogram, below **L* A X, (S.2463, Picard Emission 8 (Vs37/Rao); BCD Euboia 139; SNG Cop. -; HGC 4, 1463). Toned, good very fine, scarce.
