SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria, Antioch, Nero, (54-68 A.D.), silver tetradrachm, (9.79 g), struck c.A.D. 63-68, obv. laureate head of Nero right, star in left field, around NERO CLAVD DIVI CLAVD F CAESAR AVG GER, rev. laureate head of Divus Claudius right, around DIVOS CLAVD AVG GERMANIC PATER AVG, (McAlee 270, Prieur 48, RPC I 4123 (uncertain mint), Syd 65, BMC 172). Toned, surface pitting, very fine and very scarce.
