M. FURIUS L.F. Philus, (c.119 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.87 g), obv. laureate head of Janus, around M.FOVRI.L.F, rev. Roma standing left erecting trophy, ROM[A] to right, PHIL monogram in exergue, (S.156, Cr.281/1, Syd.529, RSC Furia 18). Toned, good very fine and scarce.
