C. PISO L.F. Frugi, (c.67 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.98 g), obv. Apollo head to right with fillet, lituus behind, symbol before, rev. C. PISO LF FRV. across, below naked horseman with palm (dot below), galloping to right, (S.348/1, Cr.408/1, Syd.855a-k, RSC Calpurnia 24aa). Lightly toned, nearly extremely fine and a scarce type.
